Please meet Walter. He was found wondering lost during one of our (Missouri) bad snow storms last winter. Walter's owners could never be found.
When Riverhill Rescue took him in to the vet for his dental and neuter, it was found that he also had heart-worms. Those have now been cleared up and he is completely healthy.
Walter is about six or seven years old and is under ten pounds. He is completely house trained and is a quiet gentleman.

And I wanted to add, although it is probably very obvious, Walter is a Dachshund mix.
