HeARTs Speak: Reaching Out To High-Intake Shelters

A good Photo can turn one into a star!

A good photograph may be better than a thousand words. A good photo might help find a forever home for an adoptable animal.

HeART Speak believes in just that. They are helping artists and photographers who work with shelter animals to present these adoptables in the best possible way.

HeART Speak has just announced the Perfect Exposure Project. Two shelters will be selected from applications to receive digital cameras, lenses, lighting, and backdrops. HeART Speak will also provide a two day workshop to instruct individuals on how to effectively use photography to create a better adoption photograph.

Applications are being accepted now through March 1st, ending at 5:00 PM EST. Here is the link to the application

If you know of any shelter that could use this type of help, please share this information with them.

This project is being made possible with a $10,000 grant from BarkBox. Yay, BarkBox! Their generosity inspires me to want to check out BarkBox for my fur kids.

More Information can be found at the HeART Speak website. Again, if you know any high intake shelter that could use this chance, let them know.
